As a project manager for a general contractor in the commercial construction sector, I’ve had the opportunity to interview hundreds of subcontractors throughout my professional career. That experience has given me a clear understanding of what to look for in a quality builder. I scoped home builders in the same fashion that I would subcontractors at work. It was obvious that John Harding was the right choice for our forever home. Throughout the preconstruction process, he was patient, knowledgeable and helped us through some hurdles on our land before we paid him a dime.

Even with a background in the construction industry, building our forever home was a very important milestone that I knew I needed help on. It was critical to me that the home was done right, with no compromises. The whole team’s (John, Chris & Wyatt) professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence made the process go smoother and quicker than I could have ever fathomed. Residential construction generally has a bad reputation for delays and zero days on-site. This was not the case with our Superintendent, Chris. He had the schedule dialed in buttery smooth. There was always some sort of work happening, pushing the project forward, even on the weekends. They poured foundations late September and the house was complete by end of February.

Harding Custom Homes exceeded our expectations at every step. They delivered on every promise, and I have full confidence that if anything comes up in the future, they’ll be there to make it right. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a builder who truly cares about the quality of their work and the experience they provide.
